What does a house cleaning include?
A Costta's Cleaning visit covers 30 tasks across the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas. The team follows this same list on every standard and recurring visit, and your written House Book adds what is specific to your home.
Kitchen
- Counters and backsplash, with the right product for the surface
- Cabinet fronts wiped
- Stovetop and range hood exterior
- Appliance exteriors, fingerprints removed
- Microwave, inside and out
- Sink and faucet scrubbed and polished
- Trash emptied
- Floors vacuumed and mopped
Bathrooms
- Showers and tubs scrubbed
- Toilets, inside and out
- Vanities and counters
- Mirrors polished
- Fixtures polished
- Trash emptied
- Floors mopped
Bedrooms
- Beds made, linens changed on request
- Surfaces and nightstands dusted
- Lamps and picture frames dusted
- Mirrors cleaned

Living areas

- Baseboards and sills wiped

Add to any visit: laundry and closet organizing. Better suited to a deep clean: inside the oven, inside the refrigerator and heavy buildup. We do not offer window washing or carpet and upholstery cleaning.

Any company can hand you a list. Two homes with the same list still need different care. Before your first clean we walk through the house with you, and we write down what the list cannot know.

If something on this list is not right, tell us. We return and re-clean it for free. It is part of every service, and it costs you nothing extra.

Can I change what is on the checklist?
Yes. Tell us during the walkthrough. Your House Book adjusts the list to your home and your priorities.
Is this checklist used on deep cleans?
Yes. A deep clean covers this list and adds detail work such as heavy buildup and the inside of the oven and refrigerator.
What should I do before the cleaners arrive?
You do not need to clean before we arrive. If there is anything you want left alone, tell us and we will note it in your House Book.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes, we can bring everything we need. If you prefer that we use your products, we are happy to do that too.
What if something on the list gets missed?
Tell us and we will come back and re-clean that area for free. That is the Costta's Cleaning Promise.
